Depending on your application, our sales team can decide to choose in offering the Continuous Dryer or the Batch Dryer.

Continuous Dryer

The Continuous Dryer operates by sucking hot air through one, two or three product beds which are each
variable in depth. New product is continuously fed in through the inlet valve, while the Swivel Valve
discharger ensures smooth discharging of dried product to the next drying deck or into the hopper. Bridging
of the product bed is avoided by gently lifting the product bed before discharging.
The discharge system is triggered by level- or temperature sensor and driven by hydraulic cylinder and
power pack. Open and closed positions of the discharger can be adjusted either manually or remotely by
controller or PLC.
Dryer air is partially recirculated back into the heater for maximum energy effi ciency and only a limited volume
of air is exhausted, at a high relative humidity.

Batch Dryer

The Batch Dryer operates by sucking hot air through 5 to 10 product beds. New product is continuously fed in
through the inlet valve to the top deck which transforms the continuous fl ow into a series of batches.
Discharging is driven by timers and powered by multiple hydraulic cylinders and a single hydraulic power
pack. Discharging starts at the lowest deck such that no cross contamination can take place.
Every product batch is treated individually in separate drying zones. The amount of evaporation can be
controlled per deck through variation of drying air volume and temperature. A moisture sensor in the hopper
can serve as input for setting burner temperatures.
Dryer air is partially recirculated back into the heater for maximum energy effi ciency and only a limited volume
of air is exhausted, at a high relative humidity.
