All Geelen Counterflow dryers now come with a 3 year worldwide
support contract which ensures that one of the company's experienced
commissioning engineers visits the dryer once a year to check
its condition, optimise energy efficiency, upgrade process
control software and train the dryer's operators.
This ensures that the dryer continues to run at its most efficient after commissioning, even
when product specifications change or new operators are introduced to the process.
Training operators is one of the most important tasks that start during
the initial commissioning period, but that need to be continued afterwards. If
the operators have a better understanding of the drying process it will lead
to higher product quality, less waste and higher energy efficiency.
The support contract also covers 24 hours / 7 days telephone and modem support.
All Geelen Counterflow dryers have been fitted with modems for several years
now, so it is possible to trouble shoot any unexpected situations immediately. Tracking
of historic process data allows dryer specialists to analyse what may
have caused a specific situation.
