New: Air recirculation unit
Following 2 years of development and extensive testing, these
are the first pictures of the new Air Recirculation Unit. Designed
for high uniformity of drying air, it consists of a compact stainless
steel cyclone, fines valve, air fan, automatic air flow control
valve and heater (steam or gas), all interconnected and integrated
into a single insulated unit.
Temperature sensors connected to
the advanced dryer control system allow heater and fan to be
stopped quickly to prevent the risk of fire. Inspection hatches
can be used for checking of all internal ducting. All critical
mechanical and electrical components can be approached from the
outside.
The new Air Recirculation Unit is available for both
Batch Dryers and Continuous Dryers. For Batch Dryers, multiple
Air Recirculation Units can be stacked on top of each other.
The plant volume required to install such an air system is less
than half compared to installation of a conventional cyclone
with separate fan and heater. In addition there are significant
savings in costs of ducting, support frames, insulation and assembly. |
